Calvin Coolidge was the 30th President of the United States, from 1923 to 1929. Coolidge previously served as the 29th vice president from 1921 to 1923, under President Warren G. Harding.
The Calvin Coolidge Presidential Silver Medal's obverse (heads) depicts a bust of the President with the inscription "CALVIN COOLIDGE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES." The reverse (tails), encircled by a stylized wreath of laurel, shows a seated female figure holding fasces (a symbol of authority), a heraldic eagle atop the shield of the United States, and a cornucopia. The inscriptions are "INAUGURATED," "AUG#8729;3#8729;1923 AND MAR#8729;4#8729;1925," and "1928."
