The way the strike is on this shield cent has a ripple look to it. My question is, will this ripple look affect the grade of a zinc cent?

This one isn't going to be graded by the way. It is for reference only. That big booger of a carbon spot on the reverse kept it a spender.

This was pulled from a roll of 2012 Shield Cents and most of them had this look on the entire coins fields and Lincolns bust as well as the memorial. Like a wavy pattern. Definitely when the coin was struck. Magnified it is very visible. To the naked eye it has a nice strike and pretty good eye appeal.

Compared to a coin struck from a different die at a different stage in the photo comparisons.

I changed the size to the photos as well. I didn't realize you can upload higher resolution photos now. Up to 10 MB. When was this changed?
