Interesting "New" George III Hairstyle?

Sorry, I should have been clearer with both my pictures and what I was asking about. First, the requested pictures:




What you are looking at is, I believe, a brockage error on a counterfeit George III farthing circa 1770, where an image and its incused reflection appear on opposite sides of the blank. The blank upon which this "coin" was struck is the very thin copper kind that counterfeiters were known for. But it also has a diameter of 19mm and the mass comes in at 1.63g, which makes it quite a bit smaller and lighter than an authentic farthing. More obviously there is no legend of any kind, so does that constitute another kind of error? A wrong planchet error? Do those kind of errors even count for counterfeiters?

My original question was about George's hair: in my own research so far I have been unable to find a match for the style you should hopefully see better now in the pictures above, not on known counterfeit farthings or halfpennies. That MIGHT make it a new variety or type. Experts in this field admit that research into contemporary counterfeits of this era is still in its initial stages and so new types are to be expected. Might this be one of them? I don't know yet. That's why I am once again turning to the collective wisdom at this forum.

Maybe American, as in American made?
