Hello,

I was looking at a collection I bought from a succession and I found a weird looking 1926 5-cent. (right in the picture)

When put near another 1926 5-cent (left in the picture), it seems there is a slight difference.

I'm sure the left one in a Near but unsure about the right one...

What do you think?

Hi luthar!
It appears like your other 1926 nickel is also near. Compare to my set of near 6 and far 6 in my collection:
Near 6 on top, far 6 on bottom:
