Fortunately for you, there is an "Instant Identifier" (as K&M calls it) in the form of the crossed-swords-and-palm-tree motif. That tells us it is Saudi Arabia, specifically the cupronickel coin of the 2 Qirsh denomination.

Just to add a little to the excellent attribution by publius, the date on this example is AH 1379 = AD 1960.
