*** Edited by Staff to Add Year and/or Mintmark and/or Denomination to Title. It's essential to have it in the title. ***

I just love a good story. Especially when the main character is a coin.

This example is not in great condition. But it's mine and I love it !

Agreed. All the major markers, and I like the wear. It was hiding in plain sight for a long time! =)

@MDSala Congrats!
I believe this story involves 2 main characters.

Is the "R" in PLURIBUS the only ID on Henning nickels?

The vertical die crack on the reverse is also a clue. On 1944, the missing P is the most obvious. Many Hennings without the looped R will have a die dot above the upper left balcony of Monticello. Error Ref has a great writeup on Henning nickels that is highly recommended.
