The trick with trading one PM for another is what the gold / silver ratio will do next. None of us knows, so we just have to go with the best ideas and info we have at the time. It does surprise me that the G/S ratio is as high as it is right now. Something closer to 25-30:1 would seem to make more sense based on the fundamentals of both metals. Of course, fundamentals are only part of the PM story.
