Gold is gold! It looks like it has been harshly cleaned. Is this just artifact of old gold. I see striations all across the coin or what appear to be striations. Was it PCGS XF45 with details? Please don't be insulted because I am just asking.

That is a nice Peace dollar Dave700x. Nice addition to your collection.
My son stopped by today with some coins he received from his grandmother's estate. All 90% silver including a 1922 Peace dollar in not as good shape as yours.

Nice and about $200 I think. 90-S and 90-O are much more expensive in the same grade.
