The 1913-S Buffalo nickel might be a type 2. The mound under the Buffalo just does not look thick enough to me. The gold $5 coins look great. That is a hard set to complete due to 1909-D and the 1929 being so expensive and/or hard to find. I like the $5 Indian better than the 2.50 dollar Indian just because it is bigger.

I wish you were right, that would be money! But you are incorrect. Look to the left of the F in FIVE. Clearly a variety 1. Compare to the 1913-D variety 2 posted immediately before it.

Nice buffalos, jbuck. How close are you now? I really enjoyed putting my set together- very challenging.

JBuck

If I remember you got a 1921-S or a 1926-S Buffalo in VF or EF condition for a great price. Can you show those again.

jbuck is on a buffalo extravaganza! Andrew99 and Ralph are killing me with those gold Indians. Man, I love that design. Just one of these is on my wish list.

I always wanted to assemble a set of the Indians, but needed to get ok with the idea of buying the 1911-D. Now that I have, I will finish the rest of it relatively quickly.

Well, remember, those last two were bought a while back. I was just revisiting them by request.
