My long search for a 1891 half has ended, and I am very happy with my find. With a low mintage of 200,000, it is among the scarcer dates, and I found it difficult to locate in nice circulated condition. Like the rest of the later dates of the series, it is more available in a MS condition.

Nice circulated cameo on that one, Krusti! And congrats on the tough find!

I've posted this in all the appropriate threads except here. Just received it on Saturday and it looks even better inhand.

Beside some potential Jeff upgrades, this is my newest purchase (waiting for it to arrive):

The color appears similar in the seller's photos as the '51 I got recently and it turned out to not be nearly as dark in hand. That may be the case here, but I don't mind the golden toning, either. This fills the proof gap I had, so it will be on to a '42 Type 1 now.

I will post in-hand pics after it's received in my album topic, as well as the 50s/60s Business upgrades I ordered.

I love proof Jefferson nickels, but that 3 cent is a stunner. Amazing coin.

A 1943-D Jefferson toner I purchased raw just came back from PCGS. I'm waiting on the TrueView images to show up and quite excited about it. I sent a toned 1938 in with the same batch and it also came back nice.

I agree, and a nice clash.
