Oh sorry - lower tiered TPG's have a tendency to grade coins higher - so buying a label will cost more than the coin is worth. If PCGS or CAC designates a certain grade you supposedly are in a certain price range compared to if ICG grades that same coin. But as always: It's buy the coin NOT the holder.

Coming from the Trading Card Game world (Pokemon) I understand about lower level grading services. Seems like any outfit with fancy plastic holders are grading cards these days....and apparently coins too. Learning so much for this forum. Thanks for your insight.

I started picking up proof v-nickels again. Here's a proof that was circulated just for a bit. In the light it's a bright white with just a bit of rose coloring. They had me at the ol' green holder.

I bought this 1805 Draped Bust Large Cent for 50.00 plus 4.25 for shipping on USA C B. Not in the best shape, but I had to buy what I can afford.
