yeah sorry about that eg_collector. using a digital camera is just too messy. and anyway, scanning is the quickest method for me.
changing the format of a scan pic (originally .tif file) to jpeg, reduces the quality alot which is something I realised last night, but leaving the file as tif is no good, not recognised by this forum.
