Oh and one other reason I heard for a quick sell out for the Saratoga was there are being used as Christmas gifts.

BRP (P) did not sell out in a few days. It sold out at a mintage of around 17.4k which seems to be the most recent go to limit.

The Saratoga was close to this number on Sunday which was the hint that a sellout was imminent.

I suspect that Bombay will be similar. There is no way to predict the length of sales but total mintage has potential for prediction of the end of sales.

Teach, I didn't think the Blue Ridge sold out this quickly, Hopefully more of the NY come back up for sale on the Mint site. I cancelled my subscription when the 10percent off ended.

I just speculated. There are now a few less Bombay's

Might just be remorse over Saratoga but I still think it's a good move with limited downside compared to the speculative potential at this point

It will be interesting to see how the next P puck plays in 2016. Hopefully they will drop the price, but apparently they have no reason too at this point. Will the next one sell as fast as the Saratoga, we shall see? Adds a little more excitement to the series that is for sure.

I was thinking the same as well about the price. No need if a sellout so quickly. Also, seems they are directing most of the allotment to the bullion. So the P version sells out quicker. With all the premiums anyway on a lot of PM, even though this P version is almost double spot in cost, they sell well.

I bet they raise the total mintage...and...keep the P price as is.

I DO hope I am wrong on both thoughts...

Took another look and it looks like it's just a combination of a smudge and a reflection. Nothing to see here, move along...
