I placed an order for the P Denali back on the 26th of February (the last day before they sold out). My order had been on backorder until today when I received an email that my order had been cancelled as it is sold out. Has anyone else dealt with this? I was disappointed and surprised that it took almost 2 months to straighten it out. Too bad. . .

So I had bought a upgraded bullion version of Hawaii awhile ago for $290 I think, then saw how much they were selling for and put in on ebay. I got about a $30 profit after fees. Then I bid and win a pcgs ms69PL Hawaii from heritage auctions for 302 with the premium and shipping. I get it in mail today it's a nice marcantii signed slab, (heritage was using stock photo w/ reg pcgs slab). I check out the coin I just paid double spot price for and its got a scratch on front of coin from the last 2 in 2012 to edge of coin. I can't believe pcgs would grade a coin that high, how it looks. I mean ms69 is the highest they have been graded, and proof like yet, with a big dotted scratch in it. I wanted to keep it, now this one too might end up on ebay, I did contact heritage but having to eat return shipping to only get back $300 when I could prob get at least $400 selling it right now. This is the 2nd coin I won from heritage, the first was a proof graded eagle I won on ebay that looked like carp and I sent it back and got refund. This coin I won in one of there online auctions. Needless to say I'm not particularly happy or impressed with anything I ever got from heritage!

...AAAAND, if they will mint the -p- versions, or just the bullion. Who knows? With the new-fangled finishes they're working up, maybe they'll switch to an enhanced version, to try to entice more buyers.

Yes, that's true. Hopefully, it will be soon though. The year is almost 1/3 over. I hope they all don't come out late in the year, especially if the Mint closes sale quickly as they did with 2012 uncirculated. The 2011 had a long, long sale time, not so for 2012.

The mint probably isn't sure what they are going to do with these coins due to the spot price of Ag right now. I'm pretty sure they already minted a couple versions of the bullion pucks. They have been in a holding pattern for awhile now and hopefully it is not too late for the P puck. They will need to come down from that $244.95 price tag for a P - puck, that sure isn't going to fly.

I know. I remember when they first came out at %279! I didn't buy any until they came down to 229. and when 204 was really the only time I bought a few for Christmas gifts. I was lucky to pick up Hawaii at 204 and have them for gifts. A good spot of luck. I hope they keep their added value I was also just under the wire for AK.

Just thought it was interesting to see the sales report and the sales for the Chaco this week is minus 2. I assume a couple were returned.

Must be since they have been 'unavailable' due to repricing. We shall see what happens with 2013 coins

It could be cancelled orders as well. I imagine some are finding the drop in silver and the hold status of the coin on backorder - might have opted to cancel the order.

I actually have bought a couple of the bullion grade ATB over the last week. I can stomache $140 for 5oz coins to check them out a lot better than +$200. So I picked up a Gettysburg to check them out - I actually like the finish better than the frosted coins.

Doug, I have to question that. Gettysburg-P has the most astounding of the series, with varied finishes on each of the devices and field. Did you hold them both in hand?

I also have been buying up the bullion versions in the last week. 2 Vicksburgs, a Gettysburg, a MS69PL Hawaii, and a vapor blast Vicksburg graded SP69.
