Ordered my pair of Rushmore pucks. Very fast web order #4221xxxx. This one might not appeal to that many people. Glad the last one of 2013 is in the books.

Thank you guys for your feedbacks. I also like WM, GB, and FM the most.

It's the end-of-the year cycle and there are quite a few things that I want to get before time is running out.... funding is always the constraint.

Just curious to what some people's mintage expectations are with this year's 5 oz ATBs. I'm thinking around 20K across the boards.

I like the Rushmore design.

No Perry this year, I'll have to trade a dupulicate or just pay for the Perry down the line.

Id be surprised if they didnt sell out whatever the mint actually made. Probably around 20k for all maybe a few less for these last ones if they arent planning on selling them into next year.

I do expect the mint to cut them off before their max number again, but theyre much more affordable now than in the past

I agree. A lot easier to buy at 154.95 than those first few at 279.

I guess they have these all ready to go. I have visited Mt Rushmore and most likely will get this but I'm not so excited about the actual depiction of it. I have seen other not complete (all the Pres) pictures and you can take a side view of Washington going up toward the monument-if only partial somehow I think that view is nicer but it is what it is.

Yours shipped already? Unbelievable, I threw something else in my order of Rushmore pucks and I got "order is being processed" ugh. Live and learn.

Its still early, but I'm interested to see how long it takes to ship with the add on. I don't understand the delay if items aren't on back order? Shouldn't all the items in the Mint catalog be in one place and easily available to ship?

They often ship items seperately and won't hold up an item just because something else will ship later (the US Mint)

Penny...don't get to excited. I ordered mine around noon on Thursday and haven't gotten a shipping notice either. These will show up soon enough!

I've said it before - I must be in a minority. I find little to excite me about the blowing volcano on the Hawaii coin, but they are selling like hot cakes. On the other hand we have all seen the perspective of Mt Rushmore depicted all over the place and we get a different take on it... and I like that! You don't lose what it is they are trying to convey... the Hawaii coin looks like a Rorschach test.

I think part of the lure with Hawaii is that they sold out very quickly. Not many sold by comparison to other designs. .

Cutting the sales short gave the 2012s a boost especially the later ones. Plus is Hawaii a place where everyone would probably like to be so it has that appeal. That's one I think looks better on the quarter than the puck.

Yes that's true as well. But AK came out later I think and I cont recall those being cut off and they sold ChocoCulture into 2013 so who knows what the reason was

Note: All designs look better on the proof quarter. I'm also not a fan of volcano, but I'm very glad its modern design scored, thus perhaps encouraging more interest in novel designs.

I actually think a couple like the Gettysburg look better on the puck, but I do agree the proof quarter is hard to compete with since thats what they were designed for
