IMO, the problem is that he was a brilliant researcher some would say he was a genius. At the same time he was a degenerate of the lowest order. And people seem to have a hard time separating the two. He's also the black sheep that will always be there when it comes to promoting the public image of coin collecting which is something else that infuriates people. Whether we like it or not Breen is always going to be with us, the good, bad, and totally ugly and we just have live with it. He's the crazy uncle up the attic.

He's become a rather "hairy" subject.

I wasn't trying to attack, or one up anyone. I just have doubts about the accuracy of a great many Internet sites.
