I would add to that, "coins that are 100 years old".

There are lotsa DMPL MS65+ modern proofs out there that are actually "average circulated" or even below average. Not the type of thing you want as an investment.

It is not easy market to get into speculating on rare coins you need a lot of $$$ and access to lot of auctions (online and direct).

Yes and you also need to have a LOT of knowledge about coins so that you buy the right ones at reasonable prices.
