Unfortunately the dies must have been almost shot when this coin was struck,notice the weakness in the centre of parliment house. I do have a couple of aUNC with excellent strike & beautiful toning. bellyflorin Valued Member Australia 157 Posts	Posted 02/17/2012 7:35 pm If there is anyone interested in looking at a nice 1927 Canberra proof pcgs pr67 There is one in heritage auctions in April , . 400 proofs were issued costing 2/6d , I bet a few pollies and big wigs got them for zip too, sadly many of these proofs are impaired now I have seen them priced/sell from $5k to $35k, as for business strikes they numbered 2 million a fairly high mintage considering the population of Australian was around 6 million a the time.
