I have heaps of these in all grades but only 1 that I would call truely uncirculated.
Unfortunately the dies must have been almost shot when this coin was struck,notice the weakness in the centre of parliment house.

Yeah I know but on ocassion they slip past the slabbers,the above coin I paid $55 for on a blurry photo & got lucky I believe.

I have seen a proof and a high MS coin alongside each other at an auction view day.

The detail in the steps was clearly better on the issued for circulation coin.

If there is anyone interested in looking at a nice 1927 Canberra proof pcgs pr67 There is one in heritage auctions in April , . 400 proofs were issued costing 2/6d , I bet a few pollies and big wigs got them for zip too, sadly many of these proofs are impaired now I have seen them priced/sell from $5k to $35k, as for business strikes they numbered 2 million a fairly high mintage considering the population of Australian was around 6 million a the time.
