Here is my newest purchase. I won this for $39!! 1768 North Carolina Colonial Currency. Nice piece of 247 year old history.

They are going for much more than that on ebay. I bought this on another auction site and I kept waiting for the bids to go up and they never did. I was very surprised to land this one for that price. These things usually don't happen to me.

I do prefer mine in TPG holders. I like the assurance of authenticity and the protection they provide to the notes. They will also always make it easier to sell if I decided to.

Makes sense. Do you think the cost of the TPG holder is usually reflected in the price, or often not (as here)?

I think it is usually reflected... Not at all with this one. I have no idea why this sold so cheap.
