Finally, I got this one ---"walking R". But I agree it's a fill error on "R".

Looks like a die chip in the end of the leg of the "R".

Very strange that hjnong's and mine (if it is a die chip) are in the exact same location...I think there is more to it than meets the eye...!

I think this kind of error is not that rare. I remember I found some from new rolls of loonie. But for this one, it just happened at the perfect place and with the perfect shape that could make it really eyes appealed.

Not at all.

Once a die is chipped, every coin struck on it will have that same chip in the same location.

If they catch the problem, even on the first striking, it's apparently a weak point on the die, likely to happen on other strikes from similar dies.

LWC tend to get BIE chips on LIBERTY, 1960 Jeffersons get "Morse code" chips between the rim, LIBERTY and the date.
