@SilverDon That 71 is a nice toner but that 72 is like a fine piece of art. Congrats, why would anybody want blast white when they can have something visually stunning as those,(just my humble opinion)

Silverdon- Pretty diversified lot of coins you have there on your first posting. All in nice condition. (Although I wouldn't expect anything else from you) That 72 is a nice toner. Non of mine look like that but I do have a new one that I purchased that I will have to post.
lucv13- Nice looking 39. You did well on that purchase. There is a big price gap between a 64 and 65.

Quote: @SilverDon That 71 is a nice toner but that 72 is like a fine piece of art. Thanks Priorpence, I agree, I would rather a nicely toned coin over a blast white one any day. The packaging on the early '70's dollars helped. Quote: Pretty diversified lot of coins you have there on your first posting. All in nice condition. Thanks JimmyD - I was pleased to pick up that lot of coins. I still have some affinity for nclt if I can find one that appeals at a decent price, I will pick it up. So a toned dollar, a clipped decimal coin, some bullion and a set of uncirculated PL coins. All part of the grand scheme that is my collection.

Just got this today. Has to be one of the darkest toners I have seen. The Obverse is a dark steel blue and the Reverse is a shiny golden tone. Hard to get the true colours with a camera. Don't usually collect these but I got it for less tha bullion so I figured I couldn't lose.

Since we post on this site for education and the betterment of fellow collectors, this is directed at 'lucv13' re you purchase of the NNC 1939 ms65.
Don't be fooled into thinking you have an ms65 1939 dollar.
NNC overgrades just about every coin they slab.
Looks like an ms64 though and this is good news since most of their ms65's are ms63's.

Hi dollarman- From the ICCS Report:
1967 PL66 UHC $1.00- 3 1967 SP67 UHC 10 cent- 6
If you want the CCCS Report, you can get it from their website.
Hope this helps (Both exceptional coins by the way)

On the 67 Dollar, there is one at PL67 On the Dime there are non higher. It is very unusual for ICCS to grade anything at a 68. As far as Specimen Coins go, I think I remember reading that all Specimen Coins where considered UHC.

This isn't the last Canadian coin I 'purchased' but it's the last one I acquired. I found it on the floor at Walmart yesterday.

Check the denticles, especially on the Reverse at the base of the Caribou. I haven`t received it yet but I don`t think this is just some kind of reflection from the photo or scan.
