The 5 in the date does not look right.
Can you post a straight on pic?

John K, your suspicion about the 1925 is correct. It is indeed a fake. The "5" in the date is the most obvious problem.

I was afraid of this. Thanks for the feedback.

Here is better picture. I wish I had my real 1925 up here in International Falls. Then I could have checked it against the photo on ebay which is the one attached to this post. Most of my stuff is down in a safety deposit box in Texas where I spend winters. I'll add it to my pile of mistakes since it was cheap.

The 1935 quarter is beautiful, seems considerably undergraded though... just my opinion from the photos.
