Just received the following 50 cents, bought from Canadian Coin & Currency's 50 cent sale: 1954 (MS65 ICCS):   1957 (MS65 ICCS):   1959 (MS65 ICCS):   I find it interesting that the obverses of the 1957 and 1959 are heavily toned, but the reverses are blast white (with intact luster).

Great looking halfs.  My guess on the toning of the 57 & 59 is they could have been original roll end coins and the obverses were the exposed side. Or they could have been stored for many years in a Whitman folder and again the obverses were the displayed side. I personally like both toned and blast white coins. This way you get the best of both worlds all on one coin. Thanks for sharing.

yup they are blunt I have no idea why I said pointed brainfart I guess. Pointed and blunt 7's are worlds apart.
