Do banks have nickel or copper bars?

Also, do you trust any of these?

Thanks. That's what I am doing recently.

However, do banks have nickel bars or copper bars for melt value?

I completely agree with swrbxxx, pre-1982 Canadian Nickels are the way to go. Like yourself I was looking for nickel bars and discovered that Canadian Nickels are the best bet. The price of Nickel bars is way too high.

As an expert on wholesale steel and similar metals for offshore purposes:

If you want to hoard Nickel then please call a wholesale metal distributor in your area. They can sell you Nickel in plate form for just a few pennies above current market price. I have personally seen 3/8" x 48" x 48" Nickel plate and it was a beauty to see. They are easy to store and preserve with the right preparation.

I am curious as to what "preparation" nickel would need for storage. It is quite impervious to most corrosion and to oxygen at less than flame temps.

By right preparation, I meant keeping it safe from harm. Had an incident involving a forklift running over a 1/4" nickel plate that had to be returned.

FREE SHIPPING

Do you trust this mint at all? It seems like the best I've seen. Te reason I ask is because the price is too cheap.

too cheap its priced like 9.70 a pound and a few small bonuses are included.
Why blow your money on garbage like this.
pre 96 pennies 98% and cost you 1 cent.
Or go buy some copper wire if you want pure .999 copper it will be alot cheaper than those bars

1 gram = 0.0321507466 troy ounces
A nickel is 5gr in weight with 25% nickel content.

Ok, you do the math .

I wouldn't buy they since nickels and pennies (1982 and prior) can be kept and also have the added value of beng real money

Just for kicks and if my math is correct or even pretty close :)
These bars are selling for $137.00 over current spot price per pound.
Wow, now that's a real bargain

I would never buy bars over spot like that. Keeping nickels and pennies is the way to go for many times esp the pre 82pennies for a lot less than spot
