Although this doesn't really belong in "Canadian Coins", I'll bump this just to mention there's a big group buy for these 2 coins on RFD: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/taki...-1173844/19/The deadline to get in is this Friday. I'm in for 2 Koi myself. I'm generally not a fan of the NZ mint, but the Koi will make an excellent wedding gift.  |

@flk118, Have you ever tried the group buy on RFD before?
I just don't trust on it. I ask the guy to add 2 sharks, 2 Kois for me 3 weeks ago.
Seen then, there is no reply, no message, no instruction how to make deposit or whatever.
My friends told me there are a lot of Scams on RFD. I do not want to take a risk.
I will order by myself on Nzmint when it is available.

Everything seems to be on the up and up.
...though it is true you would be sending cash to a nameless person on the internet.
I believe there was a previous group buy by the same principals.
It seems this group buy really only got off the ground the past couple of days so you might try sending a message again if you're interested.

I have to say that it is a more effective marketing strategy to have a "coming soon" feature for your products as the New Zealand Mint does it. It gets people talking about coins and planning their purchases. For whatever reason the RCM does not want to do this, in fact, it is the opposite. |

You can pre-order from http://www.powercoin.it he is very reliable have dealt there many times shark coin goes for 90 euros there and he has 100 for sale available at the end of july.I am going to hold out a bit and see if I can get them right from the mint. |

I was only interested in the shark coin but the koi's over all package seems like it would make a really nice gift to any up coming event. I hope the RFD goes through or I'll be eating kd for the week. |

Ordered a couple of pre sale coins of shark from powercoin just in case I miss mint release he's already down to only 25 coins left from the 100 he had 2 days ago. This may be a hot coin when it comes out.
