Quote: 1970 is a key date dime? I have an uncirculated one from my old man's collection (early 80s) and the label is for $5.00. I hope he negotiated a bit.

Atm everything I look at is circulated or the odd sale to the bank I go to. So uncirculated is new to me lol, I have mayb 2-3 uncirculated coins bot they are much more modern coins. I don't really have the money to get into deep coin collecting atm. But am here to learn. Errors are a big interest to me but I don't have the tools for fine errors.

Dime box number 3 I believe and I hit silver. Also a ton of American and a couple foreigners as well! She's slick but she's silver.

Another 1940, that's the earliest date iv found so far. Iv searched like all the rolls at my bank, they are closing soon for good so they don't get as much. I try the big TD at Jackson square when I have time but most of the rolls iv gotten there are all pre marked.

People mark rolls they search so they don't waste time if they get the rolls they marked again from a bank. I mark the top of the coin roll just scribbles and then mark an E on the side for Eric:) those be mine.@ canadianpennynan

my mark was a Sharpie ring around one of the ends, that's for Edmonton in case anyone came across them!

If you come across mine it's Ontario, iv seen someone that marks pen circles in the tops of the rolls another mark I see alot is just a straight line with magic marker. Easiest to see lol. Some times I get a roll that someone wrote the amount of coins in the roll like 40 for nickels and quarters. Some iv seen a date and signature as the persons sign but I usually go through them anyways. Some people look for silver, some people mark just for there own knowledge of weather it's a full roll etc. It's a good way to save alot of time so you don't get the same rolls over and over
