In a roll of toonies from the bank today, I found a Dominican Republic 2008 10 pesos coin. It is the same size as the toonie. It is worth 24 cents CAD, so the scammer made $1.76 on the switch. I have added it to my World coin binder.  Edited by Sharks

I've been lucky looking for Black toonies on the west coast but haven't seen any counterfeits in months.
Sharks, I find all sorts of foreign coins when roll hunting , since I don't collect them, I save them and give them to kids whenever I can.

I was at a different bank branch yesterday and they had seven rolls of pennies. I found this 2006 magnetic no logo/no P in them. I have looked through a lot of rolls over the last few years and have only found 1 of these previously. I guess it truly is the "luck of the roll". They also had this 2019 first strikes nickel roll that someone had turned in!    |

Enyaw - as you say "Luck of the roll". That is one 2006 cent that I am still missing. May have to go to ebay. Edited by Sharks
