Picked up a box of nickels yesterday and about two thirds through and I found this. I am still in shock.

Lol notice how the earlier posts from 2012 show more finds especially pennies and the post nowadays show less finds. Really shows where the search for old coins is going. XD

Anyways I found a 1891 silver 5 cent on the end of a dime roll. Got it from an old bank that doesn't send coins to the ARP, just rolls them up.

CA Coin Hunter, you're the same person who posted about the melted 1921 Nickel. Seems the rarest of rare coins find you!

that's wonderful! We just have to get this into the proper forum though, you need the Coin Roll Hunting forum:

http://goccf.com/t/145998

this one is for coins that you find in everyday circulation and transactions..

nonetheless, awesome find!

@merclover its mostly because the bank I go to doesn't order coins until requested by a customer and so only coins from customers get in the bank. Also it helps that the most of the banks customers are over 70 years old. And I and my friend are the only people who go CRH :D

I found a 2010 10 cent coin in the till at work.
Not too strange in Canada, but I'm in Australia. :)
