Went to the bank on Friday and picked up a box of quarters and two boxes of dimes to do a little coin roll hunting. In all my years of hunting this was my best ever for silver. Got one 1968 quarter. The first box of dimes nothing and then in the second box 37- 1968's, 30- 1967's, 86- 1940 to 1966's and one dateless King George V

Nice coloured toonie find. I generally spend any modern commemoratives but maybe I should hang onto a few in the higher grades before they all get too circulated.

Recently I had a circulation find, but not a circulation keeper. At a McDonald's out of town I saw a young Elizabeth dime taunting me from inside the locked donation box.

Well I guess I redeemed myself today. My change from a food purchase was $11.50 and when the till opened, I saw a George VI dime in the mix. Not wanting to explain myself and hold up the line, I only asked for the $0.50 in change to be all dimes. Sadly I didn't get it but I was surprised to get 3 other silvers: 2 1968 and a 1963. Makes me wonder how many silver dimes were in the register!

I found this Nickel in my change. I noticed the denticles right away. Looks like Struck Through Grease.
