maridvnvm Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2100 Posts	Posted 08/16/2012 3:19 pm Time is up - the results of 'SMACKDOWN VIII - Mars / Ares' are: Gold - Dionysos, Maximinus II AE Follis - 38 points including seven 1st places and four 2nds, very impressive indeed. A well deserved runaway victory. Silver - maridvnvm, Severus Alexander - 26 points including five 1st places and four 2nds. Bronze - maridvnvm, Alexandria Spetimius Severus - 13 points including two 1st places. I didn't think this would go down well at all but I was wrong. The votes were then well spread across the great quality entries. Many thanks to all others who took part and voted. Dionysos gets the gold and also gets to pick the subject and host SMACKDOWN IX. I hope you enjoyed this one even if you couldn't take part. I wanted to use it as an educational tool to illustrate that not everything call Mars in the references turns out to be Mars.
