I mean even if they do stain the coin the coins only value is its metal content. Shouldnt affect the price if your looking to flip it for a higher rate in the future and if its for SHTF backup plan no one will care then if the coin looks brand new or not

I keep my silver ounces in airtites and store them 20 at a time in cap tubes. Same idea as what you've got, except it holds 20 H size airtites.

I just recently discovered the coin capsule tubes. This is the system I use now.

Those dissolving "peanuts" are actually cheese puffs minus the cheese flavoring! No joke...you can actually eat them!

Well, you could but who would want to?

I've heard of shipping problems with those dissolveable peanuts. They tend to absord the moisure in the air and quickens their expiration.

That could happen but is probably not all that likely, especially if the tube top is taped shut. Tape makes a reasonable vapor barrier and the amount of air inside the tube is very small when the tube is nearly full of coins. Not saying that this kind of packing material is ideal but it's probably OK until the tube is opened.
