I just checked the standings. So far 2 out of 3 of my lone picks have won. Tied for first. 2 more lone picks to go. This could do it. Ok, don't get too excited yet.
Happy New Year!

cpfull was the only one to pick Louisville tonight. Looking brilliant right now
And Lion4Life, I noticed that 6-for-6 late last night. Kudos!

Not brilliant, I just really dislike Florida. But I will take a win if I get it.

Oregon is another consensus pick. The Texas A&M game tomorrow is important... cpfull can take the sole lead or slip into the 3rd place tie.

Oklahoma kept the first half interesting, but the 3rd quarter belonged to A&M. WOW! Let's see how they finish!

Ooops - I had a mistake in the spreadsheets earlier... it's fixed now. I had the wrong final scores for some of the BCS games. Perfessor is now in a commanding lead if the tiebreaker comes in to play.

Final Standings... 22 specksynder 21 cpfull 21 Lion4Life 20 perfessor 19 williamsonj320 19 basebal21 Full spreadsheet: http://www.ideasite.net/coins/contest-picks.xlsxCheck it out, make sure there are no discrepancies since I squeaked out a narrow victory. Perfessor had the best tiebreaker score -- only 65 points off of the actual point totals in the 5 BCS games. Thanks for playing, folks. I hope everyone had fun and would be open to doing this again next year. Contestants can shoot me an email and I'll send you my address for prizes. (I feel awkward winning the contest I hosted... if that bothers anyone, just give the prize to a Young Numismatist and I'm cool with that too.) Now a looong 8 months until college football rolls around again.

Congratulations specksynder, you really pulled it out in the end. I guess my lone picks came back to haunt me in the end. If only Pitt or Notre Dame could have won ...
This was a lot of fun. I would be willing to do this again next year.
