well, pretty interesting action in the PM's since the start of this month.

First, again, of focal interest is the overnight futures action 12/1. In the past, many times I have seen this pattern be of importance significance in reversals. To me, as a trader, this is a important point in terms of price action.

Fast forward to today, and we see now gold and silver break out to new ranges, with gold climbing into a new range and silver breaking out. All that is constructive in the short term. What is now key is if gold and silver can build on these moves and not give back a lot, as I have repeated many times.

From my viewpoint as a trader, if this move is significant, that price action on 12/1 in the overnight futures session is key and important. The next thing is seeing the gains hold, and seeing more chop and sideways action before moving out to higher levels.

Finally, I still view them as in their downtrends, and that gold and silver must prove otherwise, by showing constructive price action, which will then turn this powerful downtrend over.

Be patient and watch the price action

Hey gothic,

You bring up the past quite often 2008 etc. do your self a favor and get current.

Also, when you get some free time â€" Take a look at the current production cost for silver and the supply demand fundamentals which are up to date (for the years 2014 / 2015) and stay current.

Take care

PS - This would be last time I engage in a reply to you as it is rather futile.

@Ceylon62

I am going to support you here as thats a great point and glad to see someone picked up on what hes always saying :)

please remain current and please make an honest open attempt to understand supply and demand... because thats how the marketplace works and there is nothing you or I can do to change it, I accept supply and demand and there is no point in fighting it, especially when its been in place for over a hundred years now.

"Although the government might like the law to be different, nothing in the law requires a symmetry of information in the nation's securities markets," U.S. Circuit Judge Barrington Parker wrote for the three-judge panel.

Yepers, its all about fundamentals and supply and demand alrighty. Its just that some bankstas, er "investors" are created more equal than others.

cutting out here for the week but a few thoughts-

silver and gold,,,making new ranges for the week and holding above for now. its constructive. but does it hold? Thats the big question no one knows.

from a traders viewpoint, the overnight action continues to be the main focal point to me. doesn't mean its the catch all or guaranteed spot, so to speak, but as a trader, this is a pattern I recognize.

Going forward, whats important is seeing these areas hold, give backs and pull backs should be shallow and more basing and just doing nothing is key.

Again, 12/1 is important to me, even if it retraced to that point, I would be interested in seeing the reaction there. I am also interested in seeing if and how this new range holds going forward.

as always, remain patient and remember that price action is the most important element we have.

Hey Yup,

Going to enjoy the holiday season and watch the market from the corner of my eye (LOL) and look for your updates as they arise. .... it's been quite the experience learning to wait and watch patiently! A very different way of thinking, but I can see the value in it now...

Appreciate all you've done for us this past year! You're a godsend!

Wishing you and yours a Happy Holiday! Until the New Year...

Gold And Silver - Wall Street, aka United States, Pulls Off Another Destructive Coup
By: Michael Noonan | Sat, Dec 13, 2014 More Sharing ServicesShare

The clichéd definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
There is no room for sanity in the United States, anymore, and the public is sleepwalking through it all. Arguably, this has been carefully orchestrated by the elites over the past century, as in 100 years and not just in the past decade or so. Capitalism is dead in the US, and has been for decades. Ironically, China and Russia are far more capitalistic. Once the elites took over the money supply, with the passage of the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, there was a concerted effort to take over all media and start a propaganda scheme that is far superior than any other country in effective population control.
What did Wall Street just do? It guaranteed that any losses from all derivatives that arise within the bankrupt banking system will be passed onto the taxpaying serfs called United States citizens. When Congress just passed its bill allowing the [bankrupt] government to keep spending with abandon, attached to the bill was a portion written by Citicorp that allows financial institutions [read that as Wall Street banks] to trade in certain derivatives that are insured by the FDIC. What it means is that taxpayers will be responsible for all losses resulting from theses derivative contracts.
The US debt is now at $16+ trillion dollars, thanks to "I-will-cut-the-deficit-in-half-if- you-elect-me Obama." Trillion dollar deficits were unheard of before Obama was elected. What is the potential loss exposure by these bank's derivative gamblings? $300+ trillion. The banker-caused crash of 2008/09 was nothing when compared to what will happen when these risky derivative deals fall apart, as they will. With losses socialized, there is no incentive for bankers to be careful in crafting their derivative deals that are created solely for the purpose of generating huge fees for them. If a deal happens to work out, it will have been by accident.
How much insurance is there within the FDIC [Federal Deposit Insurance Corp]? About $25 billion: $25,000,000,000.
How much in deposits are there in US commercial banks? About $9,300+ billion: $9,300,000,000,000.
One more time: what is the derivative risk exposure now written into law" $300+ trillion: $300,000,000,000,000.
When the banks lose on their derivatives, and after allowing for $25 billion in FDIC insurance, the public now is on the hook for the remaining $299,975,000,000,000. This makes the current deficit of $16 trillion look more like petty cash.
Where is the public outrage over this? The short answer: There is none...

Hey yup, enjoy your time off and apparently staying with current info involves trading on misguided / misleading info.

Some facts below for those following

Ronald Regan took the national debt from about 900 bill to about 3 trillion
and he raised taxes around 11 times during this period.

Bushy senior â€" added on

Clinton started paying it DOWN

Bush Jr...ran it up to about 10 plus trillion.

Cut and paste is a lot easier than knowing the past and comprehending the situation as now a days as it is hash tag this or the other.

Good luck trading on misleading info and ignoring supply demand fundamentals and charting.
