Guys, the seller is RCM distributor.

COLLECTIBLES CANADA
A family owned store in Winnipeg, Manitoba since 1980, offering superior customer service in buying and selling estates which include coins, currency, bullion, medals, jewelry, vintage sports cards and memorabilia. We are Royal Canadian Mint Distributors, and offer past and present product.

According to parallel posts, distributors (or dealers only?) get the coins with 15% discount. I do not know, was it good to sell this way, taking in account all ebay and Paypal fees.... I want to believe, that ebay it additional source of distribution for him and he actually tried to sell them for issue price.

But anyway...the selling price is too low

Ah, did not notice they were the same seller to begin with--just looked at the price. (I now see it was all the same buyer, too!) But even with a 15% dealer discount from the Mint, assuming he got one, he's just barely breaking even.

Wait until the coin is sold out, that's when prices will rise. Colonial has them back in stock, with a limit of 1 I beleive

Says "awaiting stock" on Mint website (March 28) for the American Robin. (Still available in the boutiques.) I'm sure there will be more minted, but pretty amazing to sell all the existing coins so quickly. Obviously, the demand for this "Birds of Canada" series continues. I got mine in the mail yesterday, along with the 25 cent Mallard, which is still available on the web.

It's also said "Check Stock" in red lettering, usually that mean they have to check their inventory and shuffle things around a bit but you should still be able to call and place an order over the phone. I've received my first batch of 5 coins.... it's quite nice. I've just order a few more.
