I can still remember when the 1964 JFK's came out. I recall thinking that I was in on the ground floor, and would collect the coin as long as I lived.

Then came my career, marriage, and kids. Somewhere, the Kennedy Halfs got lost in the shuffle.

I do have a completed album, and they are my favorite U.S. circulating coin, but I had hoped to do much more with them, such as collect large numbers of the more rare years, and in considerable quantity.

I agree with Cladking. The 71's are tough to find in a good strike, fortunately I found a real nice one last week, will post a pic if I can borrow my friends camera again. Also found a real nice "S" from a proof set, can't remember the year right now. Been throwing the 87's back into the mix once I found a nice one, guess I better change my ways.
