only batman connection I can find is the new batman & superman movie will be filmed in Toronto..and that doesn't warrant a batman coin.

I am really loving the $20 Autumn coin. It looks great. I'm going to get it and the 0.5oz Gold Horned Sheep coin. I started the series with the Hummingbird coin (of course - I'm a bird lover) and I think the series is very unique. Also, they are the only gold coins in my price range right now, to be honest.
Those are the only 2 coins I'm waiting for from the September release.

@Windscar:
Did you manage, may be, to clarify the faith of the "Crystal Raindrop" series?

Each Crystal Raindrop coin was 5 to 10 bucks more than its predecessor. Maybe that's why it stopped--people quit buying? Just speculating.

The beautiful 2009 and unique 2008 (the crystal is bigger) commands some premium. The 2012 not less great than 2009, but as you've said, became expensive. Still in hope to see 2013 edition...

Quote: Eagle is in fact coming next month. Thanks Windscar1137 for the update. The name of the coin you mentioned in the other forum, "Returning from the Hunt", matches that on talisman coins' website, so the coming coin should indeed be part of the series. According to talisman coins: Four American Bald Eagle $20 Pure Silver Proof coins are planned (each with edge lettering): 1) Noble Bird - Portrait of Power 2) Bald Eagle Pair - Lifelong Mates 3) Deadly Predator - Returning from the Hunt 4) Eagles Family - Mother Protecting Her Eaglets

 Per the annual report, the 2012 coin sold 9,920 of it's 10k mintage.
