A wise fellow who knows a little something about country music and high quality rotisserie chicken once said and it is words to live by....

"So I handed him my bottle and he drank down my last swallow.
Then he bummed a cigarette and asked me for a light.
And the night got deathly quiet, and his face lost all expression.
Said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy, ya gotta learn to play it right.

You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table.
There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done.

Now Ev'ry gambler knows that the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' what to throw away and knowing what to keep.
'Cause ev'ry hand's a winner and ev'ry hand's a loser,
And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep."

So when he'd finished speakin', he turned back towards the window,
Crushed out his cigarette and faded off to sleep.
And somewhere in the darkness the gambler, he broke even.
But in his final words I found an ace that I could keep.

You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table.
There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done."

A week back this was best price on high end gold bar I could find on ebay, notice the twisting dragon PAMP way sought after will hold its value....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/28114605056...ht_355wt_887

I love the 5 an 10 gram gold bars, more the 10 as three is about an oz pretty easy math eh....

I have ZERO alas as they just too high and yield ZERO ebay bucks, and that does not cut it with me....

I love those mason old pour "style" skull and cross bone gold bars but man they are like 2k for 1 oz WAY high....

If I am gonna spend insane high why not buy a Reverse proof 2013 gold buffalo at 1740 mint OR better to haggle guy on ebay down to less if possible and get some bucks to if listed correctly in coins, accidental listed in Morgan section and all ;)....

Two of my favs via the skull and cross bones and the other below, best old pour gold bars on ebay and they are SCARCE indeed....

Scrap gold poured into 1/4 and 1/2 could be very profitable as I would buy to hard to find....

I prefer coins as well in numismatic form, but gold or old pour silver bars I will always have a soft spot for them....

I agree $1,400.00 is a lot to plunk down on a small piece of metal. I'd be a happier buyer at 8 or 9 hundred. Look at the three piece coin commem sets (1983 to 2008) that come w/a $5 or $10 gold coin. There are times when you can get the set for around $350.00
