I would like to have that dime. ( I'm not trying to buy it, just saying it's great find)

It's 100% a Magician's coin. They use it to trick people while hiding the magnet in there hand.
Their is also Quarters, Nickels and cents.

When there are counterfeits out there, I think it was worth 3 bucks to get a known counterfeit and teach myself how to spot a fake. It was a good exercise.

I think, at the time, I had a bottle of silver testing acid that had been on the shelf for awhile. I was probably also curious just to see how that stuff worked, using a cheap counterfeit.
