Now that we have a legit 1719 to make up for the skipped date, jbuck said we can move on to 1712, which was posted yesterday.

1711 France Louis XIV Écu Aux 3 Couronnes, Bayonne mint.

Important Rules Reminder For This Thread:

- We must go in order, one year at a time. No going back, no jumping ahead.
- One Year Per Day! Do not advance to the next year until after Midnight Forum Time!
- One coin per person per year, unless part of a set. That is, one person should not create multiple posts for each year.

We were getting ahead of ourselves! Remember, one year per day!

davidrj, your coin will count for Saturday, 27 September 2014 (the official day for 1710)

Carry on.

Interesting Petrus, is there any rationale for the two types, mine has the date either side of the crown rather than the shield?

1708 Queen Anne British Crown. I got this coin cheap as it has been mounted. Normally the mount marks are on the reverse, but unusually on this coin they are on the obverse...
