The seller obviously hasn't got a clue about coins, as her 'MS67' Lincoln Cent shows.

Maybe she's a newbie and would respond to a message from someone in the Forum suggesting she joins to learn about grading, identifying errors etc.

Gee, I don't remember the Monticello having only one step. Must have had some kind of elevator system to get them in an out in those days.

It's not clipped - it's an extremely rare error coin struck on a 1944 Egyptian 2-piastres planchet:

...A note about posting links to ebay & other for-sale sites ...

...The links are no good after the items are sold or taken down, so, for the historical record, would it be a better idea to capture & post pictures of said item(s), with a brief story of that which is entailed? ...

...a bit more trouble, admittedly, but at lease others will have a visual of the subject ...

I want links too so they can get removed. I'm not going to go hunt ebay for that quarter but if there was a link here I'd get it removed.

Bobby is the champion of getting trash removed from ebay!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

ebay item number:285538419810
...this is a documented counterfeit (https://www.sedwickcoins.com/fake_cobs.htm ... FC53662-B on his list) ... I've contacted this seller, informed them that this is in direct violation of the Hobby Protection Act, as the item lacks the "COPY" stamp anywhere on the surface of the coin ... doesn't matter how the seller describes this item, it's against the law to sell it ... other than being grossly underweight, this could sucker a lot of unknowing folks ...
