fed_ink85, I have one of those medallions too.

They are not from the RCM. They are issued by the Vancouver 2010 Olympic organization.

@MonneyPenney.... Thank you for the info, any idea on what it's made of? If there was any sort of COA that came with it, I don't have it.

That coin is made of pewter. It was not for sale to the general public and was given to people who worked for the Olympics. But they had some left over when the Olympics were over. I bought one as part of the liquidation sale the government had for Olympic merchandise. They sold them at the Surplus Recovery store in Surrey. The store had leftover Olympic Volunteer jackets, t-shirts. Plus they ran auctions for these medallions and even surplus Olympic Torches.
My medallion did not come with any COA but the box itself could be considered a COA since it has the Olympic logo.

Added one more today. As someone said earlier, the 2014 has a different and IMO better finish.

Finally found a 2008 to complete my Olympic loonie collection - 2004, 2006. 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. These are getting hard to find under $50. It's too bad it's certified in a slab, cause I'm going to bust it out - maybe I'll take it in to my LCS and see if he wants to trade for one in a capsule!
