Does it matter if we don't have one for every date? I mean, I just pick up ones I like, I don't really have a set or a plan for a set or anything like that.

This is gonna be fun! Good thing we have gone digital with photography or SD would have to take out a second mortgage!! Here's a tease too (I'll take better pics when the posting begins in earnest). The five reverses of an 1878-P Morgan (8TF, 7/8TF Strong, 7/8TF Weak, 7TF & Reverse of '79).  |

@Susuman, Do I see more picks from your Grandfather? Yes. Most, but not all, are from my grandfather. Although there are a couple somewhat better dates in this, almost all are well circulated. There are probably a few candidates for lowball grading. There are no coins in this lot from the uncirculated hoards of Morgans that were sold off by the government starting in the 1960s. |
