SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 04/21/2014 8:33 pm Well, if it were blast white to begin with - meaning it's been nicely preserved against atmospheric effects for its' whole life, not unreasonable for a Morgan - I could see it toning by the same pattern without a dip. That's what a "successful" dip does - it strips enough of the surface to leave raw, pristine metal without removing so much as to kill luster. Report this Post to the Staff
