I'm particularly proud of this coin. It took me a while before I could find one this well struck. You have to use a loupe to see that the "III" on the reverse is not fully struck. I looked at an MS-66 that wasn't quite as fully struck and passed on it. All of the "ribs" on the "III" are just so very slightly flat on their tops.

IMO this is where the 7070 fails. For whatever reason Dansco has decided that older issues don't need to be included. So before I get to today's design here are two older ones: Flowing Hair Half Dime NOTE: I don't have an example of the Draped Bust (Small Eagle Reverse) 1796-1797 Draped Bust (Heraldic Eagle Reverse)  And now for today's issue:

Kanga- How is that 1800 Half Dime only a VF20? Next, is the reddish brown on the face toning? Thanks for posting such beautiful coins.
