You have to use a loupe to see that the "III" on the reverse is not fully struck. I looked at an MS-66 that wasn't quite as fully struck and passed on it. All of the "ribs" on the "III" are just so very slightly flat on their tops. Report this Post to the Staff

So before I get to today's design here are two older ones: Flowing Hair Half Dime NOTE: I don't have an example of the Draped Bust (Small Eagle Reverse) 1796-1797 Draped Bust (Heraldic Eagle Reverse) And now for today's issue: Report this Post to the Staff
