So tourists don't bring old money much either? I thought they would since they don't know that the banknote series changed.

it seems that most people that bring in Canadian funds do so from an exchange or bank in their home Country. Or they exchange their currency once they arrive here in Canada. Have only seen about $200 in old bills but nothing worth getting excited about.

I was hoping they bring bill series that hasn't been used for a couple of years. I'll try my luck anyway, who knows what I'll get.
