Wow: Royal Canadian Mint $15 Chinese deluxe set in very nice wooden display box. The coins included are The 2011 Rabbit, 2013 Snake and 2014 Horse. The display box has room for all 12 designs that the Mint will be releasing.

Just finished reviewing the CA sale. I kept refreshing so I would be as early a shopper as possible. Words like "scraped", "cracked", "frayed" kept coming up, I'll us a word like "pass". Liverpool.
Lets go see what our friends at Gate west are doing.

Lunar box went away....
They have so many coins Platinum sets, flew away in 5 minutes!
Olympic 3 coin set just for 249 2007 Snowflake for 300+ and not for 500 2013 and 2014 Masks both graded for 112 each!
Didn't find something that I need. This is good. Improving my coin purchase habit.

Gatewest has some interesting choices and I didn't see any of the "damage" words as I saw when visiting Ca.
Have a good weekend everyone. Liverpool

I have to add, I have done business with CA in the past and they are from my experience a fine company.
I am grateful that they took the time to give accurate descriptions of the items on offer.

The lunar book is gone. I found a couple sets and several graded coins I'm interested in. Thing is my sons birthday party are this weekend and then Christmas, teens are never cheap. So I will need to be picky.
I forgot to me to mention colonial has the sacred teaching set with case for $495. It's quite a drop from the regular price!!

Quote: I didn't see any of the "damage" words as I saw when visiting Ca. That's why I call the Unique sale a scratch and dent. Most of the items are one offs and many have defects in either the coin or the packaging. They also say no returns so it really is buyer beware. There can be some decent prices but you really have to be certain what you are buying and fully read the descriptions. On the other hand, 99% of the stuff they sell on their website is good. And in my experience, when it isn't, C/A generally make it right. They aren't perfect but who is? However, I think that someone gets early access to their monthly sales. Today was no exception. I was on the sale as soon as it was available (before 2pm) and yet there were already items out of stock. I find that a bit 'frustrating'.

Exactly my thoughts someone get a 10 minute jump on the sales.

Same here, I refresh the page at 2:00 and saw a few item sold. There are a few occasion that this had happened. It makes me wonder if they actually have them available in the first place. Quote: They also say no returns so it really is buyer beware. I did accidentally purchased the 2013 SML fractional set without reading the description (I missed the part that it stated that there's no box). I called them up and admitted my mistakes and they were willing to let me return it. I like CA. The only thing I don't like about them is they tend to use newspapers in their packaged. I heard a few folks that ordered farewell to penny from them (which have white outer box) and got black marks on their outer box because CA pack them with newspaper.

i agree , nothing worst then looking through a bunch of listing only to see they don't have any in stock lol, I think they need to update/upgrade their software so sold items get deleted so we don't have to look through all those None in Stock items.

I purchased 2001 and 2002 platinum coinset from CA unique deal for $3000 each. They are only around $200 above bullion. Always love their unique sales. The only coin I missed out is the 2005 $350 gold for $1650 (basically bullion). I never have issues with the CA sales and I don't believe they display items that are not available or they allow people jumping on the sale.
