The CA's 3-rd day of the Chrismass Sale:
"Gold Maple Leaves"
The sale not active yet, but the pictures published.
Some 2014 Maples, BoC $10 graded coins, MapleGramm25 (all sheet and single coin). Btw, whoever thinks for fun to buy 1gr GML - it is tiny coin, like battery for the watch. But, nothing to say, most affordable GML, individually numbered, and crafted not bad at all....

I have a sheet of these. I actually like it quite a bit. I find it is nice and it is a nice touch to have them individually number

yes, sure, they are cute. The sheet is great idea. Just becomes not so affordable (it still 25gr of pure gold). Bought a single to have one pure gold coin. Will need to insert the square piece to some capsule, to make it bigger

So coins ordered late Monday from CP arrived this morning.
As someone speculated, I would guess these were at CP outlets and returned to CP Philatelic for sale.
The coins look fine but the packaging and COAs show signs of being handled. Nothing ripped or torn but not qite pristine.

Silveroid: Did you buy a single coin so you paid the shipping?
I would like to buy also one but for the size, a lettermail ($1) would be the right price to pay.

The sale has been started. I checked the page....and didn't find really discounted items. Except the 1gr GML - couple of dollars cheaper. 1914 HS $5 Gold for $999 (+tax) ? I bought it from DWS with local pickup. Nice guy, recommend. Otherwise, would buy it from CA or "The Coin Shoppe" with some other coins.

@ Arianzo: Hope, this the coin that we speak about: 2014 1 Gram - Pure Gold - 50 Cents Maple Leaf Coinhttp://www.thecoinshoppe.ca/2014-1-...e-leaf-coin/There are 6 images on his website. Do not judge the coin by them - they too nicely rendered, specially the #2. The real coin, more or less looks like #4, but very small.

Quote: 1914 HS $5 Gold for $999 (+tax) ? CA corrected the listing. This is 1914 HS $10 Gold for CAD 999.95 and they have 3 in stock. Issue price for the year of 1914 - very nice. The $5 of this year is rare, so the $10 twice rare? In any way, now (in 2014) this is 100 years old Canadian gold coin....good sale and price.

Perhaps this is not the best thread for the silver maple but really it's not a bad price here in Canada for a new one ounce maple, box and plastic container. I'd be interested but shipping takes the fun out of it. Nice gift...............
