Quote: Was that through an airtite? Based on the foam covering part of the coin, it appears that it was sitting in an Air-Tite when photographed. I don't see any obvious marks from the cover, so the Air-Tite may have been open when this photo was taken.

Well I missed the 1848 and today is 1846, so...I'm gonna cheat a little. Here is my 1848/6 GB 4 Pence, not a beauty but I love her! Hahaha.....
