silverworld,
I wouldn't completely ignore the employment numbers. While some sectors and areas may be hurting, the area where I work with students is booming right now. I am currently receiving a lot of calls/emails to help place in professional positions.
Again, this isn't to dismiss what you said, but some areas are booming right now.

@enhanced proof, cool 10 well your getting close to that goal nice. What years did u buy and what grades? That plunge and more to come but that is the name of the game these days. Stack it up and roll with it. I still have not decided what I want today for silver. I think well I am just not sure. Now maybe a few Scottsdale Rounds or a poured Scottsdale 5 oz's some point today.
@MontanaCMR for me I am self employed when the dow is up I do get more sales when its down I get less sales. I would say that the dow is about 4000 points to high,so I am ready for not so great sales in the future. As far as I know friends that I know can not get jobs or they will only hire them part time for a period of time. My sister who is super smart 100x more then me is getting work no problem but not everybody can be a scientist.
I really do not see US in good shape over the next 10 years.

@enhanced proof, search out "US Coin Collector Website"this is a good all around site for US coins. There you will find a grading part of the site on the site home page for US coins. Silver coins included along with Gold coins. This site will give you a good start to the scale of grading a coin, hope this gives u a good idea on grading a coin. I can't find a good site for Canadian coins.

I posted a canadian coin in the canadian forum of coin community and others were kind enough to grade the dollars.
If you haven't checked out the grading section of this site, you are missing out. Some in the community are scary good at grading coins. I posted some, then sent them to NGC for grading. Just about every coin came back exactly what this community said they would.

When I see the Hong Kong Market trading in the green I go out to eat. That said I do not go out to eat much last 3 years.
When I see London making moves in the green I sleep in.
When I see New York trading in the green I know its about time to buy even more silver because the low is coming soon.
Ozze's trading is a snore bore most times.
Tonight, weak trading start for silver again.

Earlier in this this thread, I mentioned some sectors are booming right now. For those that are just starting college, you might want to consider SQL, analytics, big data, and business intelligence as a major. My last teaching assistant had six offers before graduating. I found this recent article that describes a bit more about the area, as some of you might be deciding a major and have never heard of this area: http://www.networkworld.com/article...alaries.html

Silver trading down along with the barrel trading down at $47 and some cents. The barrel falling pretty bad in the last 48 hours or so,silver down now. If the Non-Farm Payroll Report shows another strong gain on Friday at 13:30 this could bring the US dollar up and bring silver down even more.
My advice to silver stackers,is buy all the way to the bottom, buy from trade $21 down to 2006-07 trade level prices when ever you have extra fiat.
MontanaCMR@,Many folks need jobs that have little hope to get one. Most have given up looking. The US has a major problem. I am lucky to be a artist and make all my fiat because of my skills blowing glass. What u have to understand is 10's of 1000's of jobs have been lost/taken away from the average US person beginning from the late 80's to now 2015.
The US lies to its people and hides behind false numbers. Please the high educated can find a job,its the poor and uneducated that need to have more labor jobs.

Silverwood, that is cool you are are an artist. It probably gives you an additional appreciation for well-designed silver like the 2014 Britannia 5 ounce proof coin. I wish I had an inkling of artistic ability, but even my stick figures look terrible.
I also recognize the market is very difficult for millions of people. The point of my post was to show a link to a field where the average person heading for college hasn't even heard of.

Thanks for the kind words MontanaCMR. Lets hope u helped someone.
Wow the markets are all over the place today. Sure does make it easy to buy in to silver. 2014 Britannia 5 ounce proof coin is a great coin. I think the Armenian Noah's Ark is the best Mint State bullion coin made right now. The detail unreal, its field is proof like.
