Only in case if you will sell yours, then you can say, that people "didn't get the profit". But to hold this coin, and think that you have something valuable ..... I am sorry. We all have unique pieces of the garbage in the trash. From the numismatic point of view - this exactly the same like PMD coins.

Quote: You can say the same for every NUMISMATIC COINS!! I agree with you, marty I do not think, that you have justify your collector's items. When I bought my Mongolia Hedgehog under 200 and it raised to 500, I thought that I have rare numismatic item, that heading only up etc. My friend, was shocked, when I told him the price and told that this coin is jewelry item or....just piece of nothing. When recently Gulo Gulo sold for 700, I more agree about "piece of nothing", but I like it.

And what about previous real picture, that has been discussed about - wasn't it "untouched" ? I wait that some of you guys, will post your detailed pictures...this way the external look could be judged properly.

I don't think the Bust side is enhanced , unlike the picture on Power coin listings that shows the 2014 dated coin.

I can see the striations radiating out from the centre on the reverse under the ruthenium sticker, er paint.
Obverse looks normal. Heck of a price, whoever jumped early looks smart.
I would not buy this unless I had that 1980 Firebird Trans AM, and could hang it from the mirror,
with a hole drilled through it and a leather strap. Like fuzzy dice.
To give this a COA is like putting lipstick on a pig. Still a pig.
Agree with Commems, not a limited mintage, but limited edition altered bullion coin.
Just not for me. But there is a market and it is robust, so obviously others are fans.
There is no accounting for taste.

Quote: There is no accounting for taste. Must be a lot of people with bad taste out there. None of that 80s fire bird or hunger games reference were going through my head when I first saw this design, it just looked great nothing more nothing less. The lines are the new security feature that in on 2014 and newer Maples. Pretty hard to hide those, don't think you would want to anyways. It is what it is, some love it, some love it a lot since it is increasing in value, some don't like it, for various reasons. Prices could get crazy if enough people with "bad taste" want one , time will tell.
